My first serious camera was a Olympus OM10 and a 50mm lens. After the birth of my son in 2002 I bought my first digital camera, a Fuji S5000. I used this to start my interest in wildlife photography and eventually traded up to a Panasonic FZ50. This only lasted a year before I traded up again to a Nikon D80 and a 105mm macro lens.

Nikon D300s

Nikon D80 with battery grip
Canon G9
Nikon Coolpix S9100

The Nikon D300s is my main camera with the Nikon D80 providing the main backup. The Canon G9 was my main compact, carry every where camera, but the Nikon S9100 is fast filling that role and the video is much better.

Lenses and teleconverters
Nikon 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED AF-S VR Micro
Nikon 300mm f/4D ED-IF AF-S

Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF

Nikon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX
Nikon 1.4x teleconverter (TC 14EII)

The Nikon 105mm macro has to be my favourite lens and is simply awesome. I got the Nikon 300f4 as a affordable carry around telephoto lens. With the teleconverter the 300f4 makes a great close up tool when needed.
